POEM: "Chance"

Chance

She travels alot by air on business
where the dial of luck is reset each time

Infinity crashing infinity till infinity
stacks on the last unsurprising possibility

Shrivelled Shakespearean monkeys
there’s nothing can chance forever

Croesus doubling his bets every game
27 people in the same happy room

Two keep on sharing the same birthday
mad roads as slippery as a jetstream

Might as well despise a white Ferrari
I always bet she gets home safe.
